The Island. The Christmas Wishlist 2011.

Hiatus for 2 months? I was busy for 65 days. I tried gaining some Social Consciousness with some of my friends. On the final days of my November, I went to the beach again. I have been craving the beach for almost 4 months. I haven’t listened to that blissful beach waves and the warmth it brings especially during the night. You can read the rest below.

That was last November 24. I went with my friends (the so-called A-Project, a group that has a mission for World Peace) to Tatlong Pulo, Guimaras Island. How about climbing a mountain and down for a starter? The view on the peak of the mountain was very beautiful (how I wished I took a photo of it). Going down, you can feel your adrenal hormones jumping together with your endorphins. The beach was really relaxing. Watching the sea, I forgot all of my problems and some quarter-life crisis. Overall expenses was like 200 pesos? We stayed there overnight. I really enjoyed watching the stars and explaining how constellations would come out from this side of the horizon. I was also stoned. Imagine we have to sleep in a dilapidated house nearby because it was slightly raining. I was enjoying my time lying down in the sand while watching the stars. The bonfire was burning that moment. I woke up that morning with a spin on my head but it didn’t stopped me. I was on the beach so I had to take advantage. We went to the other part of the island and they had a swim. I was watching the horizon and had a smoke. It was majestic seeing the sea, all consumed into your own view, and imagining what is life beyond there? The horizon has completely lost its own meaning.

The beach experience was oddly beautiful. It was pretty and insane at the same time. I wish to travel like that again. Travel like forgetting the rest of the world and focusing into your own inner soul, your own inner path, your own inner fears. It was a beautiful experience. So here’s me and my friends. I woke up baked before going home.

And now, for my Christmas Wishlist 2011!

1. iPod Touch 32GB

I’ve been craving for an Apple iPhone 4 but with my friends telling me about being in a third-world country and it’s practicality, I should buy an iPod Touch with a whopping 32GB memory. I think of this as a music gadget with added apps like Facebook, Twitter, and others. I can’t wait for this!

2. Blackberry Curve

I’m getting one before I leave to Manila (December 18, 2011) so I can get in touch with old friends? No. So that I can replace my old borrowed phone which begets a SIM card registration fail every 2 hours. How uncool is that?

3. Lomo LCA+RL

If you haven’t heard this old news yet, My LOMO LC-A+RL got stolen. So I’m buying one as soon as possible. I love this camera to bits. It’s small and compact. It is always great if I want to take pictures for just… everything. I want this one!

4. Yuck Vinyl Album

I hope I can make this up too. I’ve been out of budget since October 2011 but I’m still having this full hopes of getting one vinyl record from them. To count, they are my best new band of 2011. Have a quick listen if you still haven’t.

5. Job!

Do I need a picture for this? It’s not always fun to be unemployed but you get to sleep with your own pace. But I’m tired with that. So for my final Christmas wishlist this year, I hope to get a job by 2012.

Aside from all of this, my dear friend Von Jovi will give me a Christmas present (Asahi Pentax Spotmatic) because he has broken the needle of my SLR’s light-meter. Also, I’m getting that Starbucks Planner this year. Another thing, I’m getting some vinyl records this year (thanks to my bro) like Spandau Ballet, the Beatles, and other classics. I’m excited, okay!

Until next time! Happy holidays!
