That Christmas 2010 Vacation
Apparently, since film is very slow, let me update you guys of my trip during Christmas 2010 vacation.
We hurdled ourselves around 10:30 AM to visit our friend, Lario over Batad, Iloilo. It is somehow a 2.3 hours trip from Iloilo City. Going north of course was fun together with Benjo, Robby, Bulate, and Erik. They’re my friends over Ilonggo Skate Flavas (ISF).
We arrived some time around 1:30 in the afternoon. Lario got us driving around Batad and Estancia. We ate lunch in this chicken restaurant and we’re all surprised when Tarquinn arrived from his hometown Kalibo, Aklan. After savoring our stomach with “chicken foods”, we proceeded somewhere over Balasan and ate that famous bibingka. Then, we forwarded to cross the boundary of Iloilo-Capiz and visited a place called Pilar where there is a big MAMA MARY that can be scary most of the time. Climbing up the hill was no fun. We were tired but enjoyed a brief moment on top of the hill.
We went back to Estancia and bought 1.5 “kaha” of beer, foods, and some “munchies”. Around 5 in the afternoon, we went to Carles and made our way towards the beach. We had a cottage reserved so we tried to prepare some things needed for the rest of the night.
Of course, while they prepare for our dinner, we tried to make ourselves “happy”. By just around 7 in the evening, I was in the state of nirvana or somewhere around there.
Dinner was served and we finished all of the food. Then, drinking came. Because I was at my peak, time flew really fast that when I checked my wristwatch, it was already 1 AM.
So much for that Christmas vacation. I woke up wondering how I got into my bed. Friends were telling me of blackout. We spent the rest of the morning playing skimboard, taking pictures, and going to the beach. It was ridiculously fun that we left the beach around 2 PM and went home by 4 PM. We arrived in Iloilo City by 6:30 PM and I was very HUNGRY. Must have been that thing.
