Testing Chyou
So last week, Chyou (the name of my Lomo LC-A+) arrived in my doorstep at around ten in the morning. I opened the box, checked this Chinese-Russo camera and its capabilities and added features like the ISO-extended rate of up to 1600, multiple exposure switch, and front plate slit for lens attachment.

The big, wooden box came together with two film rolls ready for test-drive. It was that day when me and Stann went to Roberto’s to eat some siopao and burger. So I loaded the Lomo LC-A+ with the film that was together with the box and took some pictures. After seven days, I went to a photo-lab and had my rolls processed. I was surprised (that the Lomo LC-A+ can do this) with over-contrasted and slight saturated pictures especially indoor photos.
The Lomo LC-A+ can definitely take some awesome shots. I was a camera purist (one that trusts with the original) but this little “copy of a copy” copy is definitely kicking good photos! Here are some of the test shots from my very first roll of film.
P.S. Cannot wait to do some film projects with Patty Lagera, Louie Nucup, Kara Hizon, and some international friends! You can also visit my Lomo LC-A+ diary. :)
