June is… Career Month (but with photo outtakes)

Just last June 2011, I started out what I call “career preferences” or “orientation” because I applied to The Medical City - Iloilo last April.

The orientation took almost two weeks because of the hospital’s development and upgrading their new system and infrastructures. But hey, like I told you last time, I want to blog about my “heart transplant” for my Lomo LCA+ camera because I don’t practically like the Chinese-made lens of this new camera. So, what I did is to take off my old Lomo LCA camera (the vintage, the original, the favorite) and tried removing all the screws. You might ask why it is because this “old” camera has already passed out. Shutter won’t open and I often get a lot of blank rolls. Google the original Russian Minitar-1 lens versus the Minitar-1 lens that is made in China or try looking for comparisons of the Lomo LCA+ and the original Lomo LCA.

I tried opening all the screws of my Lomo LCA+ camera and found out that I can interchange the lens (hurrah!). So with the heart transplant — that is exchanging the lens from my old LCA to the new LCA+ camera — I successfully tried a lot of test shots and I am just… happy with it. Perhaps I want to change my camera’s name from Chyou to… Uhmmm, I really don’t know yet. Suggestions?

Here are some test shots together with Gabrielle’s outtake in the fields.

(can you look at that vignette? The classic Minitar-1 lens from Russia is really a total win!)

Speaking of Gabrielle’s outtake, here are some photos I got during the shoot. :)

And lastly, here are some of Kayla’s photo outtake. Thanks!

Thanks so much to Kayla, Maki, Von, Tajen, Gab, and especially Thea. Well, she took some behind-the-scene shots and these are all hers! :) They all look cute.

So to be honest, my PC is still goddamn broke and I don’t have any time (and money) to have it fixed. Hoarding a wi-fi is basically my necessity to go online. Career skills development will be starting next week (or maybe next next week, please?) and I do hope I can basically go sane with everything.
